Leopoldo “Polo” Salles is the grandson of Don Jorge Salles Cuervo, founder of El Tequileño. Leopoldo’s heart beats for tequila and sharing El Tequileño with the world.

Leopoldo attended the prestigious ITESO, Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara in Jalisco, where he graduated with honors in communications and public relations. Beyond his academic degree, Leopoldo is an accomplished international equestrian clinching both state and national titles.

His love for horses is only surpassed by his love for tequila and carrying on his family’s legacy. Today Leopoldo is an international brand ambassador sharing El Tequileño’s commitment to quality, authenticity, and tradition as paved by his grandfather.
