Casa Santos Lima Colossal Reserva Red – Portugal
Walnuts, black and blueberry fruit, roasted sage and olives on the nose. It’s medium bodied, fleshy and meaty, with ripe tannins and a tasty finish.
This wine pairs well with roast leg of lamb, grilled steak and hard cheese.
Terrae Toscana Sangiovese – Itay
Intense ruby-red colour tending towards garnet. It has an intense, lively and elegant bouquet with fruity and spicy notes. In the mouth it is dry, slightly tannic, warm and robust. The taste is harmonious, well structured and persistent.
This wine pairs well with cured meat, grilled meat and stewed or roasted game.
La Storia Petite Sirah – USA
Beautiful nose of concentrated blueberries and blackberries that leads to a full-body mouth feel with engagingly soft (for Petite Sirah) tannins. After short aeration, the nose opens with the addition of cocoa, violets, slight earthiness and graphite, followed by brown sugar and a touch of vanilla.
Pair this wine with stew, chili and sauteed mushrooms.
Nipozzano Chianti Rufina – Italy
On the nose this wine is fruity and floral at the same time with hints of blackcurrants, blueberries and raspberries, floral notes reminiscent of violets and dog roses follow. This is followed by spicy notes of black pepper, cloves and star anise. Delicate tertiary notes and freshness given by balsamic and citrus scents are also interesting.
This wine pairs well with pasta Bolognese, pizza and salami.
Seaglass Cabernet Sauvignon – USA
Our Central Coast Cabernet Sauvignon opens with distinct aromas of black plum and cherry. The palate is rich and complex, with ripe flavours of blackberry and black cherry, framed by hints of spicy oak on the finish.
Pair this wine with grilled lamb and pasta with a red sauce.
Castellani Toscana – Italy
Perfumed nose of cedar, spearmint, morello cherry, vanilla and lemon verbena. Medium bodied with polished tannins. Spicy character with ambitious new wood and mocha at the end.
